You guys, it has been almost two weeks since I have posted anything for you! My apologies, I needed some time to step away from some of my “screen time” and I am glad I did. For anyone who ever considers taking a break from any kind of social media or screen, I encourage it. I am back feeling refreshed and am so excited about what I have coming up to share with you.
One exciting thing I did do while I was taking my break was create an Instagram account just for the blog! This gives me the chance to post a lot more and share more of my daily life and I am so excited! Toss the account a follow! Bold and Becoming Instagram
For us Christians, Holy Week is a beautiful time allowing us to deeply reflect and praise our Lord Jesus for dying for us sinners. There is no love that runs deeper than Jesus’.
For me specifically, Holy week has been a time for me to step back from school and assignments (we actually get an easter break, yippee!) and spend extra time going to Mass and praying. I feel at peace, at ease, and so thankful for this time. Its also so crazy how Lenten season and Easter are already here! Time flies when you’re not eating sweets I guess 😉 (I gave them up for lent)
I wanted to share with you some Bible verses and passages that I have read this week that have inspired me in prayer, and in life to pull myself closer to God. I hope they give you the same experience. Happy Easter, darlings!
He must become greater; I must become less. John 3 3o
Where you go, I’ll go. Where you stay, I’ll stay. Ruth 1 16
God promises to make something good out of the storms that bring devastation to your life. Romans 8 28
Where God guides, he provides. Isaiah 58 11
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. Psalm 52 5
Never let an earthly circumstance disable you spiritually.
But first, Pray.
Be as quick to kneel as we are to text.
Don’t be too busy to notice what God is doing around you.
When you fix your thoughts on God, God fixes your thoughts.
Seek things that are above.
Get on your knees and ask for the blessings of the Lord. Then, stand on your feet and do what you are asked to do.
